Spring is coming :)

Spring is starting to arrive here. So the weather is warming up and trees and flowers are beginning to bloom. It's exciting and beautiful to watch. It's my favorite season here. Being from Florida you don't get to see anything like this. There's mainly only one season. Summer. And for the most part the weather is either very hot or rainy. Not that I'm complaining, I love Florida. I'm a Florida girl. I'm enjoying my ministry. I have a nice RV that I mentioned in my last blog. It's been nice. So this week I visited her after I hadn't seen her for a few weeks. She was on spring break. (She's an English teacher here, so when the kids have off so does she.) So we made plans to meet up again after the break. We shared a nice conversation. I invited her to the assembly and while she said she couldn't come because on the weekends she goes over to visit her fiancee (who's from Bangladesh) who lives in another town. I showed her some videos about the resurrection from the 2014 convention in order to show her what our assemblies and conventions are like. So after watching those it sparked some questions and she asked me about the resurrection. I quickly used the tract on that subject and showed her some scriptures and she said she'd never heard of the resurrection like that before. So I offered to show her more about it next time using the Bible teach book and she agreed. She said she was excited, she likes to learn and was eager to hear more!!!!😀😀😀 I was so thrilled. And earlier that day I went out in morning service. We preached at a University. It just so happened my partner and I landed on the floor where all the native English speaking professors are. So we were looking around. We ran across the information office. We went in to ask. At first the woman at the desk was a bit uncertain as to why I was there, but I tried to be as polite and professional as possible. [LOL] All of sudden she begins looking at a list and then checking her computer and tells me all the native professors on that floor. She even tells me one is in his office now and he isn't working and we can go to see him if we want. My partner and I thank her and then go to find his office. We both were really nervous. So as we're standing in front of the door we say a quick prayer to Jah and ask for Holy Spirit. Then I knock on the door and the man says to come in. I immediately introduce myself and offer him a JW business card. He was very nice and took it and I was able to have a brief yet good conversation with him. After we left I let out a huge sigh of relief and say to my partner 'I was soooooo nervous'. 🤣 It was so great and a really wonderful day. Jah knows exactly what we need.:) I was so nervous that I was so hyper. All the nerves rushed to my mouth that day and I think I didn't know how to calm down. I know Jah really helped me out, cuz if it wasn't for Him I wouldn't be able to do it. Next weekend is our English assembly. I look forward to it. I think I'm settling in here more and more. A sister from my hall is tutoring me in Korean and I help her out with English. I really like it. I really feel I'm learning a lot. I also have some more work now. Jah always provides. And Sam and I are also doing good. Growing together as a couple, spiritually and personally. I keep you all in my prayers and thank you for reading my blog. Till next time.👋
